Its funny how the one reason I purchased this dock was defeated by the one flaw that drives me crazy about it Lets get one thing straight it does its job very well BUT The unit has two very bright lights that never ever ever turn off so if you dont want the light you have to unplug the dock.... Isn t that why I got a dock so I wouldn t need to unplug the phone all the time They were very smart in making it a very loose fitting dock so you can put it in and take it out with no problems. I would say if you are going to put the charge pod somewhere you wont see it all the time like a bookcase or by the door your fine but if its next to your bed or tv or something you ll go crazy I will give a FIVE star for this product.

I bought this charging pod to use as a bedside stand for my new BlackBerry Bold. I d read online that some didn t like it because when the Bold is in the pod it can easily tip. In my usage I have not had any problems with the base tumbling. There s a grippy rubber bottom to the stand that further keeps it from moving around when knocked. Could you inadvertently knock over your Bold while it s in this stand Absolutely. The bold sticks up about 4 to 6 so it becomes an easier target. That s going to be an issue with any charging stand of this type. What s cool and I didn t expect is there s a white light at the back of this pod so you can find it in the dark useful if used as bedside charger stand to re-cradle your BlackBerry Bold. As the description say s this is a charging pod only - you ll need to supply your own charger and BlackBerry Bold . The fit is perfect. Drop your Bold. It charges. Enough said. I m buying another for my office.

I bought this and also bought the AMZER SKU:81388. I liked the 81388 as it has a battery charger slot and comes with charger too.

Spent half a day runing around town looking for this in the shops hey its Christmas and nowhere had one. back to Fommy ordered at 14:30hrs wow arrived at 09:30 the next morning...amazing Could of saved a fortune in parking if I d have come here first. Anyway product. The holder is slick smart and will sit comfortably in any surroundings. Yes the Bold and Pod centre of gravity is well questinable and the slightest tap well see your bold going a tumble. But the Pod does do what its intended to do charges the Bold presents the screen at all times and in Bed Side mode well the screen dims the trackball goes out and the Bold is now a perfectly ergonomic bedside alarm clock. The Pod light behind the Bold when docked is not bright but provides an adeqaute glow to find your Pod in the dark. Overall great product a must have from a great supplier.Well done Fommy
