It is dual band, and so works with all US carriers except Nextel. The unit is USB powered, so is perfect for portable laptop use, or permanent installation in a home/office. Installing the Cell Ranger PORT is very easy. Just place the antenna near a window where you get some signal, making sure it is over 8ft from the unit. Then just plug the unit into your laptop/desktop USB port - once plugged in, the Cell Ranger is up and running and improving your reception.
